Studio Sketches

This is another stamp set I didn't think I needed but I really love it now. I have made several cards with it and I'm sure I will make several more.

We got really rained on Friday night and Saturday morning and our local mountains are beautiful with the snow that they got. They had a lot of traffic problems but the kids are really having fun.

I started with a Always Artichoke card base and ran it through the Big Shot with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder. I ran a piece of Old Olive cardstock through the Big Shot with the Finial Press Embossing Folder and wrapped it with 5/8" Old Olive Satin Ribbon and then tied a piece of linen thread around the ribbon into a bow. I then stamped the image on very vanilla and colored it with ink pad and blender pen. I layered that to Always Artichoke which I layered to Old Olive and adhered it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I used Old Olive, So Saffron, Soft Suede and Riding Hood Red to color the fruit.

Thanks for stoppin and hope to see you again real soon.

June

Just Believe

I just can't get enough of this stamp set. I think it will be my favorite for a while. It is just so simple and nice.

My ladies had a great time yesterday. I had two who were first time stampers and they loved it. My regular lady is just the greatest and she is such a joy to have at class. We all got to meet new people and we just had fun!

This is one of the eight cards that we made.

Supplies used were: Pear Pizzazz , Blushing Bride and Whisper White cardstock, Just Believe stamp set, Lap of Luxury DSP, Pear Pizzazz and Basic Grey ink, Basic Pearls, Boho Blossoms punch and Blushing Bride 1/2" Stitched Poly Ribbon, snail adheshive, mini glue dots and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Clean and simple but very nice.

Thanks for stoppin and hope to see you soon.

Hugs,
June

I didn't think I would like this set but it is a fun one. Makes a cute birthday card. I just love Chocolate Chip or Early Espresso with Pretty in Pink.

Three ladies are coming this afternoon to make the cards from card class. We are going to have a lot of fun. If you live in the area and would like to come just let me know. The more the merrier they say!

Supplies used for this card:
Create a Cupcake stamp set, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White and Pretty in Pink DSP, Cherry Cobbler and Chocolate Chip ink, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle, Scallop Oval and Build a Cupcake Punches, Whisper White Organza Ribbon and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Hope this inspires you to use the sets you don't think you like. It works, you like them once you use them.

Thanks for stoppin and hope to see you again real soon.

Just Believe

Good morning! I hope it will be a good day. I see the Dr this morning and hope she takes the pain away.

We had a great card class on Saturday and one came yesterday to do the cards because her little girl was sick on Saturday. I have three more coming this week to do them also. We just have a good time sharing together. So if you live in my area and would like to have some fun in March, remember my card class is the 3rd Saturday and my Big Shot class is the 4th Sunday of every month.

I am looking forward to three workshops in March. I can't believe the difference Sale-a-bration makes in the workshops. To bad we don't have it more than once per year. I am also looking forward to promoting this month.

We also have a great offer from Stampin' Up right now until March 31st. You can become a demonstrator for 15% off the kit price (148.75) instead of $175, plus you will receive a $50 bonus kit for free! What a deal!! You can sign up on my store website by clicking on the circle to the right of this post.

Supplies used to make this card were:

Just Believe stamp set, Wild Wassabi, Perfect Plum and Whisper White cardstock, Wild Wassabi and Perfect Plum Markers, 5/8" Pear Pizzazz Satin Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, the Ornament Punch, Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Simple but very pretty. My one lady wanted me to help her make a Wedding card that she had already gotten the supplies for from the "m" store, and when she saw the Vintage Wallpaper Folder she asked if I could put that in her card. We made a gorgeous Wedding card and she was so happy.

Thanks for stoppin in and hope to see you again real soon.

Be My Valentine

Finally getting the last Valentine card in. I haven't been feeling very well because of a bad back and lots of pain in my right leg. I can't set for very long and walking is only done when necessary. I slept in the recliner last night and finally got a few hours of sleep. Back to the chiropactor on Tuesday and then maybe things will be better.

This is my last valentine card and next I will start doing February card class cards. We had a blast yesterday even though I was hurting. Nothing stops a dedicated stamper.

Stamp set: Be My Valentine

Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler DSP and the Red Glimmer paper.

Ink: Cherry Cobbler

Accessories: Heart to Heart Punch and Stampin' Dimensionals

Thanks for stoppin in and hope to see you again soon. Have a great day!

Valentine Defined

I realize Valentines day is past however I still have one more to post. I have been having some back problems, therefore I am behind on posting. I will try to do better, I promise.

We had a good rain yesterday and they are saying showers everyday for the next 5 or 6 days. I won't complain because it makes everything so green and pretty. Right now however the sun is shining but it is cool, only 50's for today.

Stamp set: Valentine Defined

Cardstock: Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White and Real Red DSP

Ink: Cherry Cobbler

Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch, 1/4" Grosgrain Real Red ribbon, Modern Label Punch, Pretty in Pink Marker and Stampin' Dimensionals

Simple card but nice and gets the message across. I love Valentines Day because of the chocolates. This year we also went to Penacle Peak Restaurant and had a great Fillet Mignon dinner. First time we have ever celebrated Valentines Day like that. Love that wonderful 'hubby' of mine.

Thanks for stoppin in and hope to see you again real soon.

Filled With Love

Here it is another week already. My the time does fly. I had a wonderful workshop yesterday, 4 people and over a $500 order. We had so much fun. Sold my second Big Shot and now have requests for a Big Shot class. It will be fun teaching them all the 3D projects and making cards as well.

Here is the last of my January card class projects. Of course we had to do a Valentine card.

I used the Filled With Love stamp set. Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Black and Real Red DSP. We stamped with Jet Black Stazon ink. They like using punches so we used the , 1" Circle, 1 1/4" Circle, and the Scallop Circle. We also used the 3/8" Whisper White taffeta ribbon and Stampin' Dimensionals.

This month's card class is coming up this Saturday the 19th at 1 pm at my home so if you live in the area I would be happy to have you join me. Just please let me know on Friday so I can prepare your card supplies for you. We will have a blast I know.

Thanks for stoppin in and I hope to see you again real soon. Have a great Valentine's Day. Hope you all get some chocolate.

Hugs,
June

Growing Green

Good morning. It's a bright shiny day here today. I am getting ready for another visit to the Chiropractor this morning. She is really making me feel better and so I guess I am happy about going. It would be wonderful to walk without pain in my leg and knee again.

This is the last card for my January card class. I'm not sure what it is called but the message card slips out of the outer card, you can pull it by the ribbon tab attached to it.

I used the Growing Green stamp set. On the message pull out I stamped both flowers very lightly for a background in Pretty in Pink and So Saffron. Cardstock used was So Saffron, Garden Green, Very Vanilla and Garden Green DSP from some DSP package, not sure which one.

I also used 5/8" Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon and Stampin Dimensionals.

Something different for a change.
Thanks for stoppin in and hope to see you again soon.

June

Countryside

It's cloudy and cool here today, might even get some rain. Still much better than that white stuff and it won't get below zero at least. I feel very sorry for my Michigan friends.

Here is another card from the January card class. Once in a while you need a masculine card and I just love this set for that purpose. My husband was raised on a farm and when he was little they had an outside pump for water. It's so hard to believe this in this day and age.

Stamp set: Countryside

Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla, First Addition DSP

Ink: Crumb Cake

Accessories: 5/8" Early Espresso Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals

Thanks for stoppin in and I hope to see you again real soon. Enjoy your day!

June

Just Believe

Good morning. We had a beautiful day yesterday, my husband turned 80 and we celebrated our 57th aniversary. Had a great brunch at the 94th Aero Squadron with family and friends. Played some card games in the afternoon and got a beautiful Coach bag for my birthday which was January 29th. Such fun.

This was the favorite card at my January card class. I just love the bright and cheery look of Tangerine Tango. I used that and the DSP and Whisper White cardstock. We used Tangerine Tango ink for the thank you and colored on the stamp with Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi Markers for the image. Images are from the Just Believe stamp set.

We also used a few punches; 1 3/8" Circle, Modern Label, Word Window and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border. They loved using the punches. We also used Stampin' Dimensionals. So easy but a nice card to say Thank You.

Hope you all had a great week-end. Thanks for stoppin in and hope to see you again real soon.

Hugs,
June

Amour

Just got back from breakfast with friends. Good pancakes and scrambled eggs. It's a cool sunny day and I'm ready for action. I need to get insides of all my cards done. I should learn to do them at the time I make the cards. I always say I'm going to and then 'ola' it never gets done. I also have to get designing for this months card class on the 19th.

This is another card from my January card class. I love the punches and the Big Shot and that Scallop Heart of Hearts Embosslit. I really don't know how I ever got along without them. I just know that they make life easier and cards more beautiful.

I used the Amour stamp from Artistic Etchings

Cardstock: Real Red, Basic Black, Real Red DSP, Very Vanilla and Love Letter DSP

Ink: Jet Black Stazon

Accessories: Big Shot, Scallop Heart of Hearts Embosslit, Two-step Bird Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon, Modern Label Punch and Stampin Dimensionals.

I just love using the punches as much as possible. I think the cards look more professional and really gorgeous. Hope this inspires you to make something today.

Thanks for stoppin in and hope to see you again soon.

June

Flower Fancy

Clear sky today and in the 50's. No more rain and not nearly as much wind as was predicted. I just love the sunshine. It makes me think it is warmer than it really is. That's good.

My class wanted to learn about 2 step stamping so I picked this set and they had so much fun with it. Also taught them how to use the Scallop Border Trim Corner Punch a different way.

Stamp Sets: Flower Fancy and Grateful Greetings

Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Pear Pizazz, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White

Ink: Poppy Parade and Pretty in Pink

Accessories: Scallop Border Trim Corner Punch, Poppy Parade 1/2" Poly Ribbon

Fun card to make. The trick with the punch is to start in the center and then do each end.
Hope this inspires you to create something outside the box.

Thanks for stoppin and hope to see you again real soon.

Elizabeth

The sun is shining but it is on the chilly side yet this morning. Just glad I am not in Michigan where they are getting lots of snow and cold. I lived it for a lot of years but now I like warm winters and easy driving with no snow.

I used to think you could not have Christmas without snow. Boy, was I dumb. It is just as nice or nicer without it. You can actually plan on going to church Christmas Eve because you don't have to worry whether you will get snowed in or not. I did that a lot of years also and spent many Eve's home because there was a blizzard looming outside.

Anyway, here is another card from January card class. First time I have used this stamp but I really love it. So elegant looking yet simple.

I used Concord Crush, Concord Crush DSP and Whisper White Cardstock.

Concord Crush Ink.

Birthday Wishes from Occasional Quotes.

Concord Crush 1/2" Poly Ribbon and Silver Brads. Also used the Big Shot and the Top Note Die.

Hope it inspires you to make one of your own. I love to share what I do and am honored when someone cases my projects.

Thanks for stoppin in and hope to see you again tomorrow. Have a great day!

Hugs,
June
