Perfectly Penned

I haven't been feeling very well this week. Back problems and my left arm is still not doing well. However, I am praying for healing and hope it comes soon. I have decided 4 years of pain is enough.

So today I am in my stamping studio and hoping to get some things done. I have a full schedule for July so there is no time for pain and relaxing. If you live in the San Diego area and would like to join us for one of my classes you can check for times and dates on my website at www.stampinwithjune.stampinup.net. If you don't live in the area and would like to make my cards email me and I will send you details on how you can get them.

Triple Treat Flower

Wow! I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted. It's been a busy month with card classes and getting new recruits and everyday life.

My husband is recovering nicely from his broken foot and should be back to wearing his own shoe before too long. His garden is doing very well. We have been enjoying zuccinni, green beans, cucumbers and tomatoes. He has such a green thumb for growing things. Whether it is vegetables or flowers they all seem to thrive under his care and he so loves doing it.

This is one of the cards we did in our May card class. I love these colors together.

Card Recipe:

Stamp Set: Triple Treat Flower (now retired)

Card stock: Garden Green 5 1/2 x 8 1/2; Certainly Celery 4 x 5 1/4; Not Quite Navy 2 x 5 1/4; Marina Mist 2 15/16 square; Rose Red 2 3/4 square; Whisper White 2 1/2 square and scraps for 3 flowers;

Accessories: Big Shot with the Hounds Tooth Embossing Folder, Fancy Flower Punch, 5-Petal Flower Punch(now retired), 1/2 Circle Punch, Scallop Border Punch, Silver brad, 6 1/2" Whisper White Organza Ribbon and dimensionals

Triple Treat Flower

We were at the doctors again this morning. My husband's broken foot is healing but it can take up to 12 weeks before it heals completely. So I guess our trip to Michigan is off for now. We may go in the fall if it doesn't get cold there early. He is doing good but is not suppose to walk much.

I hated to see this stamp retire as I had just gotten into doing some special things with it but all good things must come to an end sometime. Hope you are inspired by this card and will do some experimenting on your own.
