God's Blessings

I love the new incolors. They are so compatible with our core colors as well as with each other. The names are too awesome!

Tomorrow is my Big Shot class and I have another one on Tuesday. Looking forward to helping my customers who have bought Big Shots know how to use each accessory. I have some great cards and projects for them and they will have some time to just play with my products. Should be a great day all around.

For this card I used one of the new incolors and some new ribbon. The color is Lucky Limeade and the ribbon is the incolor ruffled ribbon in Lucky Limeade. Base card is Peach Parfait 4 1/4 x 11. Lucky Limeade is the next layer and is 4 x 5 1/4. The dsp is the Peach Parfait and is 3 3/4 x 5. Sentiment is from God's Blessings and cut with the Scallop Circle Punch. Flowers are Lucky Limeade punched with the Boho Blossoms punch. My customers were so happy I made the bows for them.

Hope this inspires you to create.
Thanks for stoppin in and I'll see you soon.

Hugs,
June

Three Little Words

Wow! It rained a lot more yesterday and in the night. It is still partly cloudy this morning and looks like we could get more rain. This is a picture of the beautiful bouquet of roses my husband brought me Sunday from his rose garden. Aren't they gorgeous!! and they smell so fantastic.

I have two ladies coming today to do the cards from Saturdays card class so I better get busy cutting. I am also getting ready for a Big Shot class on Sunday so it will be a busy week again. I love being busy. I also have a workshop on the 30th to get ready for. I just love sharing my love of stamping with everyone.

Card Recipe:

Stamp Set: Three Little Words

Cardstock: Whisper White and Marina Mist and Springtime Vintage DSP

Ink: Marina Mist

Accessories: Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, 1 1/4" Striped Marina Mist Ribbon and Stampin' Dimensionals

Thanks for stoppin in! Hope to see you soon. Have a wonderful day.

Easter Blossoms

Good morning! I have been to breakfast at the club house and to the store to buy fish bait already this morning. Very good start to the day for me. I usually am just having breakfast at this time of the morning (lol). It looks like a nice week-end for us. Warmer and no rain is good.

This is another stamp set that I really like. I hope it makes the big catalog this year.

Stamp sets: Easter Blossoms and Something to Celebrate

Cardstock: Basic Black, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White

Ink: Jet Black Stazon

Accessories: Big Shots with the Ovals Die, Scallop Trim Border Punch, 5/8" Whisper White Organza Ribbon and Stampin' Dimensionals

Hope you have a great week-end. Thanks for stoppin in and I will see you again real soon.

Something to Celebrate

I love dazzle! This card really dazzled and it is so beautiful. My card class ladies really liked it and I had an aniversary come up last month so it met two purposes. I was so glad to get in on the special purchase of the Pretties Kit. I love these cloth flowers and they color so easy with a dauber or sponge.

Getting ready to enjoy a great week-end. The weather is just beautiful again today. I feel so blessed to live where it is warm most of the time.

For this card we used;

Stamp set: Something to Celebrate (level 2 hostess in the mini)

Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and Glimmer Paper

Ink: Cherry Cobbler

Accessories: Pretties Kit, Boho Blossoms Punch, Dauber, Small Corner Punch, 1/4" Real Red Grosgrain ribbon, Scallop Border Punch, Circle Fire Rhinestone Brads and Stampin' Dimensionals

Thanks for stoppin and have a great day. Hope to see you again real soon.

I didn't think I would like this set but it is a fun one. Makes a cute birthday card. I just love Chocolate Chip or Early Espresso with Pretty in Pink.

Three ladies are coming this afternoon to make the cards from card class. We are going to have a lot of fun. If you live in the area and would like to come just let me know. The more the merrier they say!

Create a Cupcake stamp set, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White and Pretty in Pink DSP, Cherry Cobbler and Chocolate Chip ink, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle, Scallop Oval and Build a Cupcake Punches, Whisper White Organza Ribbon and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Hope this inspires you to use the sets you don't think you like. It works, you like them once you use them.

Filled With Love

Here it is another week already. My the time does fly. I had a wonderful workshop yesterday, 4 people and over a $500 order. We had so much fun. Sold my second Big Shot and now have requests for a Big Shot class. It will be fun teaching them all the 3D projects and making cards as well.

Here is the last of my January card class projects. Of course we had to do a Valentine card.

I used the Filled With Love stamp set. Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Black and Real Red DSP. We stamped with Jet Black Stazon ink. They like using punches so we used the , 1" Circle, 1 1/4" Circle, and the Scallop Circle. We also used the 3/8" Whisper White taffeta ribbon and Stampin' Dimensionals.

This month's card class is coming up this Saturday the 19th at 1 pm at my home so if you live in the area I would be happy to have you join me. Just please let me know on Friday so I can prepare your card supplies for you. We will have a blast I know.

Thanks for stoppin in and I hope to see you again real soon. Have a great Valentine's Day. Hope you all get some chocolate.

Hugs,
June

Just Believe

Good morning. We had a beautiful day yesterday, my husband turned 80 and we celebrated our 57th aniversary. Had a great brunch at the 94th Aero Squadron with family and friends. Played some card games in the afternoon and got a beautiful Coach bag for my birthday which was January 29th. Such fun.

This was the favorite card at my January card class. I just love the bright and cheery look of Tangerine Tango. I used that and the DSP and Whisper White cardstock. We used Tangerine Tango ink for the thank you and colored on the stamp with Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi Markers for the image. Images are from the Just Believe stamp set.

We also used a few punches; 1 3/8" Circle, Modern Label, Word Window and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border. They loved using the punches. We also used Stampin' Dimensionals. So easy but a nice card to say Thank You.

Hope you all had a great week-end. Thanks for stoppin in and hope to see you again real soon.

Hugs,
June

A Cardinal Christmas

I just love Christmas! This is one of my favorite stamps for Christmas. We had a motor home when we lived in Michigan and it was parked in our back yard. When we would eat lunch we could look out our kitchen window and watch these 2 cardinals look at themselves in the rearview mirror. They were so beautiful, bright red and flitting all over. They were a very bright spot in an otherwise snowy white picture.

I used Real Red, Garden Green and Whisper White Cardstock, A Cardinal Christmas Stamp set, the Scallop Trim Corner Punch, the Scallop Oval Punch, the Wide Oval Punch and Real Red Satin 5/8" ribbon. I colored the stamp with Real Red and Garden Green Markers before stamping. Fairly simple yet elegant looking card. Hope it inspires you to create something too.

Thanks for stoppin!

Have a blessed night!

Just Beleive

I am having a big shot class on the 17th of October and have all my projects ready. I thought I would share one of them with you today. I just love the big shot and wish I had every die, folder, sizzlet and anything else that goes with it. I have trouble not using it for every thing I make. You really need this, it is so much fun.

I decided I wanted a couple of 3-D projects and I just love the Scallop Envelope Box. It is so cute and holds a maximum of 6 - 3x3 cards and envelopes. I made 3 this time and I did them for different occasions. One is a thank you, one a just for you and the other is a friends.

I used Concord Crush for my box, decorated with Concord Crush dsp from the level 1 hostess incolor paper pack. The cards are made of Very Vanilla with layers of Concord Crush or Blushing Bride. I used the Just Believe stamp set, the word window and modern label, 1 1/4 inch circle punches. I used Concord Crush and Blushing Bride ink.

Hope you like them and they inspire you to do some of your own.

Thanks for stoppin in!

Have a blessed day!

VINTAGE VOGUE

Our team finally has a name and now since I am a member of the Rockin', Rollin', Reinkers' team, I learned how to rock and roll this morning. I think this is how I was going to tell you this but I'm not sure if it's exactly what I thought to say at the time I did it. But it was something to this effect. Must be one of my senior moments.

When I started this card I was going to use the Just Believe stamp set and somehow I ended up using Vintage Vogue. I didn't intend to go vintage either but I ended up with that too. Go figure!! However I love the end results.

My base card is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 Naturals Ivory, layered with 5 1/8 x 5 1/8 Soft Suede, and the top layer is 5 x5 from the Elegant Soiree' DSP.

I used the Vintage Vogue and Friends 24/7 stamp sets.

Card stock is: Naturals Ivory, Soft Suede, Elegant Soiree' dsp, Marina Mist

Ink is: Marina Mist and Soft Suede to thwack the edges with a sponge

Accessories are: Decorative Label Punch, Vintage Brads, Scallop Oval Punch and the Large Oval Punch, 1 1/4" Marina Mist Striped Ribbon, Linen thread and dimensionals

I made this card just because I wanted to and then looked at the challenges for this week and decided to enter in 4 of them. They are: Connie and Mary (CCMC113), Mojo Monday (Mojo 153), Stamping 411(SSC166) and last but not least Paper Players (APP#13).

Hope you will check out all these blogs and join in at least one of their challenges. It's so fun to play along.

Thanks for stoppin in!

Have a blessed Sunday!

EARLY CHRISTMAS

I know this is early for Christmas but I am loving this new set from the Holiday Mini. I can see making many things with these stamps. Christmas is my favorite time of year and I am like a child when it comes to gifts and decorations. I have a huge 7 foot flocked tree and each year I buy more baubles and trinkets to adorn it with. I can't resist Old World Santa's and Father Christmas ornaments or dolls. I have a beautiful ceramic sleigh pulled by 2 white horses with a man and woman dressed in 1800 clothing riding in it and I keep it out year round. If I lived alone I would have a hard time not leaving my Christmas decorations and tree up all year. Well, on with the card.

This card is for the challenge over on Just Us Girls blog, (jugs 45). This was a wonderful sketch to work with and I could just see Christmas all over it. Thus I got to use that gorgeous Cherry Cobbler cardstock and ink. This is becoming my favorite color.

Stamp Set: Bells and Boughs from the Holiday mini.

Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla

Ink: Cherry Cobbler

Accessories: Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Border Punch, Hand held 1/16" punch, Very Vanilla 5/8" Satin Ribbon.Mini glue dots and stampin' dimensionals.

Hope you like this as much as I do. I think it might become my Christmas cards for this year.

Father's Day

I have been working on Father's Day cards for my sons, grandsons and in-law grandsons, so here is another one I created today. I didn't use a challenge this time, I really did this one on my own. I loved these colors that I worked with earlier and I feel they are just excellent for a man card. The Kraft in this one even looks kind of "tweedy". This is for my son Bill who loves to golf but doesn't get much time for it. I did this for a challenge on The Shabby Tea Room that was just to do a man card for Father's Day.

The main card is Chocolate Chip 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Next layer is Kraft (soon to be Crumb Cake) 4 x 5 1/4 and run through the crimper. It is layered with Chocolate Chip Textured cardstock 2 x 5 1/2 and punched on both ends with the 1/8 inch hand held punch and adorned with vanilla brads from the 5/16 Neutral Brads collection. I adhered this with dimensionals. Next layer is Kraft 3 1/4 x 4 and topped with Very Vanilla 3 x 3 3/4. I stamped that with the golfer image and sentiment from the stamp set And Many More in Chocolate Chip Ink. I put a strip of Chocolate Chip 1/4 inch grosgrain ribbon around those layers and then adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I stamped the fathers day sentiment on Very Vanilla 1/2 x 1 3/4 and put it on a piece of Chocolate Chip 3/4 x 2 1/4. I just love the way it turned out and it looks so masculine. I know my son will love it. I really do hope all fathers have a "par-fect" day with their children. Life is so short you must savor every moment you can with family.

HAPPINESS ALWAYS

I was inspired by another challenge today and so I made this beautiful card for the challenge at Lord Have Mercy. I really liked this one and it was very easy to do.

I started with Gable Green for the main card, layered it with Whisper White and layered that with some Bashful Blue DSP. Next I layered three pieces of Pixie Pink and stamped the bottom with a sentiment from Whimsical Words in Bashful Blue. I then cut a scallop circle from Gable Green with the Scallop Circle Punch. Next I cut the flower pieces with the Big Shot and the Floral Fusion Sizzlet from Bashful Blue card stock. I put a Bashful Blue brad from the Soft Subtles brads in the middle. The bow is made with Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon and attached with a dimensional.

Cute and quick to make. Hope you like it. The color challenge was from the Diva Coffee Break Design Team. So much fun and I am learning a lot about colors.

I want to thank all of you who are visiting my blog. I really enjoy sharing my creations with you and hope I inspire some of you to do your own creating. The layout came from Mojo Monday. We are having an Air Show today at our local airport which is just over the hill from our park, so I can see we will have a noisy week-end. It's amazing how quickly you get used to something when you live with it every day. Usually we don't even hear the planes anymore. However there is a lot more air traffic today than usual.

Hope you are having a great week-end!

WELL DONE

We are now done with the surgeries for the Essential Tremor. My husband had the last one today and came through just fine. We go to the Neurologist on Thursday, June 10th to get the wire activated and the tremor will be gone. Praise God!! This has really been an ordeal for him but he was so excited to get it done. Life will be much different for him now. No more spilling coffee or losing food from his fork, and no more embarrassing moments for him. I thank God for what doctors can now accomplish because of the knowledge he has given them.

We got home about 4p.m. today and I had stayed up last night late to get my cards created so I could share some today. I will put 2 on tonight and the other 2 tomorrow. This layout came from Mojo Monday.

GOOD DAY

This has been another good day. We saw the surgeon and Gene is cleared for the second surgery, which we hope will be next week sometime. Then we see the neurologist and get it activated. He is getting so anxious to be able to eat and write and function without a tremor again. I certainly hope it is soon for his sake and my sanity. Thank God I have stamping to do.

I needed an anniversary card in a hurry, so decided to do another top note card with a different twist. I like this one too. I love Mellow Moss and Pretty in Pink and Always Artichoke together. I will miss Mellow Moss so much.

Card stock: Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink

Ink: Mellow Moss

Accessories: Big Shot(you really need this) with Top Note Die, 5/8 inch Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon, 1 1/4 inch Circle Punch, mini glue dots, dimensionals and My Digital Studio(you really need this also) for the sentiment.

For the inside:

Mellow Moss and Whisper White cardstock. The sentiment is partly from the Very Versatile stamp set. I just changed the last sentence because instead of a wedding card it was an anniversary card. I made it say (as you continue your life together) instead of (as you begin your new life togeher). I did this in MDS also. I really love that MDS program, the more I use it the more I want to use it. It is truly awesome!!

See you here tomorrow.

Thanks for stoppin in!

Have a Blessed day!
