Father's Day

I have been working on Father's Day cards for my sons, grandsons and in-law grandsons, so here is another one I created today. I didn't use a challenge this time, I really did this one on my own. I loved these colors that I worked with earlier and I feel they are just excellent for a man card. The Kraft in this one even looks kind of "tweedy". This is for my son Bill who loves to golf but doesn't get much time for it. I did this for a challenge on The Shabby Tea Room that was just to do a man card for Father's Day.

The main card is Chocolate Chip 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Next layer is Kraft (soon to be Crumb Cake) 4 x 5 1/4 and run through the crimper. It is layered with Chocolate Chip Textured cardstock 2 x 5 1/2 and punched on both ends with the 1/8 inch hand held punch and adorned with vanilla brads from the 5/16 Neutral Brads collection. I adhered this with dimensionals. Next layer is Kraft 3 1/4 x 4 and topped with Very Vanilla 3 x 3 3/4. I stamped that with the golfer image and sentiment from the stamp set And Many More in Chocolate Chip Ink. I put a strip of Chocolate Chip 1/4 inch grosgrain ribbon around those layers and then adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I stamped the fathers day sentiment on Very Vanilla 1/2 x 1 3/4 and put it on a piece of Chocolate Chip 3/4 x 2 1/4. I just love the way it turned out and it looks so masculine. I know my son will love it. I really do hope all fathers have a "par-fect" day with their children. Life is so short you must savor every moment you can with family.

Thanks for stoppin in!

Have a Blessed night!
