RAG PURSE
I just love making these Reversible Rag Purses with the Big Shot. They turn out so beautiful and you get 2 purses in one. Can't beat that. If anyone is interested in purchasing one of these you can pick your own colors and patterns.
Here is the inside of this one:
I also make beach bags, diaper bags, wine carriers, and shopping bags. So if you would like any of these just e-mail with your requests and I will e-mail you back with instructions for payment.

MOMENTS
Good Monday morning all! It is a beautiful morning, the heat has gone down and the humidity also, so it feels really nice this morning. I have another challenge card for you today. This one meets the color challenge for Connie and Mary this week (ccmc107). They are such fibrant and pretty colors, I really enjoyed making this card.
Card Recipe:
Stamp Sets: Elements of Style
Card Stock: Rose Red, Old Olive, So Saffron and Pink Pirouette
Ink: Rose Red and Old Olive
Accessories: Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder, Dazzling Diamonds for a little glitter, Ticket Corner Punch, Blender Pen, and Dimensionals.
I cut out the flower and bird images to make them stand out a little more. We have hummingbirds in our back yard all the time so I am kind of partial to them. They flit around so quickly.
Hope you all have a great Monday and let your creative juices flow.

FOLLOW YOUR HEART
I am late for the judging but will still put this on Mercy's blog. This is her MTSC82 sketch challenge. This is my first black and white card and I love how it turned out. This would be nice for a wedding or an encouragement card. I always have believed that you should follow your heart in whatever you do because it usually does know the way.
I used Very Vanilla for the basic card 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I then layered it with Basic Black 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. I used Night and Day DSP (retired) for my next layers. The top one is 1 x 5 1/8, the three across the bottom are 1 5/8 x 2 3/4. The Basic Black circle I cut with the Coluzzle (retired) and the scallop circle is from Whisper White done with the Scallop Circle Punch. I then stamped the small flower from the Vintage Vogue Stamp set on Whisper White CS with Basic Black and cut it out with my paper trimmers. I used a white brad from the 5/16 Neutral Collection (retired) and adhered it to the card with a dimensional.
Hope you like it as much as I do and that it will inspire your creativity.

FRIENDS
This card is created for the sketch challenge for this week on Techno Stamper (tssc130). I love these colors together and will use them again many times I'm sure. They are Early Expresso(new), Pretty in Pink, Rich Razzleberry (carried over in-color) and Very Vanilla.
Card Recipe:
Card Stock: Early Expresso for the main card, Pretty in Pink is 2 1/2 x 5 1/8 Textured cardstock stamped with Rich Razzleberry and the vine from Vintage Vogue. I stamped off each time before I stamped on the pink. The Rich Razzleberry is 2x3 3/4 run through the Big Shot with the Petals of Plenty Embossing Folder. The Very Vanilla layer is 2 1/2 x 3 stamped in Rich Razzleberry with images from the Vintage Vogue Stamp Set. I stamped the small flowers on Very Vanilla with Rich Razzleberry and cut them out and mounted them with pink brads from the now retired Soft Subtles collection. The ribbon is 3/8 inch taffeta Pretty in Pink striped with Rich Razzleberry. The simple sentiment is stamped with Whisper White craft ink. I felt like I had a lot of mojo for this card and am very pleased with how it turned out. If you click on the card you can see everything better. The dark colors make it hard to see the images on the cardstock.
I guess this is one of those days when the creating juices are flowing good and I am really making use of it because tomorrow may be very different. You just never know! Right?
Thanks for stoppin in!

SUMMER
Here I am again with another challenge. This is just my day for creating, I guess. It seems I have to be in the mood for everything I do anymore and some days the moods don't come. Anyway I have created this card for the Mojo Monday challenge(mojo147).
I started with a Old Olive card and layered Riding Hood Red and then Marina Mist run through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. For the squares I also used Daffodil Delight. I used the technique called Direct-to-paper that I learned on Patty's Stampin Spot on the squares and then cut butterflies with the Big Shot and the Beautiful Wings Sizzlet and put them on with mini glue dots. I then used the Big Shot and the Scallop Circle #2 Die to cut the Daffodil Delight half scallop circle. I stamped the imagine from Garden from the Heart(retired) in Marina Mist and put a crystal from the Eggs-cellent kit (retired)in each of the scallops to give it a little glitter. I used Very Vanilla 3/8 inch taffeta ribbon under the squares.

IT'S TIME TO BLOOM
Good Saturday morning! It is another hot but beautiful day in Southern California. I think we might have brought some Michigan weather back here with us. The humidity isn't quite as high but high enough to make it uncomfortable.
This card is for the Paper Players color challenge (app6). I really like how this card came out. I do so love the colors we now have with Stampin' Up. They are so beautiful and go together so nicely.

For this card I used Rose Red for the main card. Then I layered it with Certainly Celery punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. The next layer is Basic Gray and the next is Very Vanilla. I used the Asian Artistry and Bella Blooms Stamp Sets (retired). I stamped the grass and sentiment with Certainly Celery and the flowers in Rose Red. I then added the butterflies made with the Big Shot and the Beautiful Wings Sizzlet. I sponged around the Very Vanilla first with Basic Gray, then with Rose Red and last with Certainly Celery. I adhered the butterflies with mini glue dots. The ribbon is 1/4 inch Certainly Celery grosgrain.
Hope you like this as much as I do.

BECAUSE I CARE
Here I am with another challenge, this one is a sketch challenge from Sweet Sunday(sssc77). I had not even opened this new stamp set, boy am I ever challenged.
For this card I used: the new cardstock Cherry Cobbler for the main card. I then layered that with Tangerine Tango(a returning in-color) punched with the Scallop Border Punch. I then layered that with Basic Gray also punched with the same punch. My next layer is Certainly Celery run through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I then stamped the flower image with Cherry Cobbler and Certainly Celery on Very Vanilla cardstock. The image and sentiment are from the new stamp set called "Because I Care". The ribbon is 5/8 inch Certainly Celery Satin. Pretty simple also simply pretty.

BACK TO CHALLENGES
It feels good to be back creating and doing challenges again. My creative juices are finally flowing. To start the day I have met the color challenge from Curtain Call 38. I so enjoy using the Big Shot with the embossing folders as you can see. I really don't know how I lived without it before. It makes my cards easier and so much prettier.
For this card I used:
Cardstock: Very Vanilla for the base card, layered with Rich Razzleberry run through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and Certainly Celery run through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. The scallop circle is Pumpkin Pie, (I used my mat pad and hole punch to punch holes around the scallop)and the layer under thank you is Regal Rose and the Thank You is stamped in Rich Razzleberry on Very Vanilla.
I then layered a piece of 1 1/4" Pumpkin Pie Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and tied a piece of Pumpkin Pie 1/4" grosgrain ribbon over it. Then layered my scallop circle on it with dimensionals. The flower and leaves are from the Flower Fancy stamp set stamped in Rich Razzleberry and Certainly Celery.

Digital Card
Well, guess it's time I got back to normal, whatever that is. The time change between Michigan and California has me really not wanting to do much, except maybe nap a lot.
I had planned to create something today but just don't seem to be able to get the old mind going, so here is the digital card I made and printed through Stampin Up's print system. Pretty neat card I think. I had to do a card to get certified in My Digital Studio after I did the Webinars. I also did a scrapbook album and a calendar. That program is so much fun and I suggest you all purchase it. You can really do some cool things and still can ad embellishments after you print it off.
I can't remember the stamp sets I used or the DSP but you can find it all in My Digital Studio.

I put white brads in the small flowers at the top just to add a little something. Now I may ad some more embellishments before I'm finished with it. If I do I will put the card on again so you can see what can be done.
O.K. Here is the revised digital card. I added the photo corners to give some layers and I added gold elastic cord bows to the buttons to dress them up a little. I like it better now, hope you do to. It just shows that after you do your card in My Digital Studio you can add embellishments to dress it up more and give some layers to it also.
Hope you all have a great night!

I AM FINALLY BACK
Hello everyone! I am finally back in sunny California where the humidity is at least bearable. The first week in Michigan was great, mid 70's with humidity that was tolerable. However the second week was spent in the air conditioned house. I guess I am spoiled by the weather in the West.
I have the new catalogs and other new logos on my blog but am not ready today to post a card, so come back tomorrow and see what's new. I still have jet lag and cannot get it in gear to design. I hope to do some challenges this week if possible.
Thanks for your support while I was away.
Have a blessed night!
