Here is another great card that we did in July. I love Cherry Cobbler everything. It makes me hungry but I still think it's the greatest red we have next to Real Red. The new stamp pad in Real Red is awesome. No smearing and it drys quickly unlike the old pad I had.

Summer Soltice

 

Good morning. It is a beautiful morning in Southern California. A few patchey clouds but nothing serious. Maybe it will be a cooler day because of them.

 

I am so glad to be starting on the July card class cards. Seems like I made them eons ago but really it hasn't been that long. I may catch up one of these days.

Perfectly Penned

Last card of the June card class. I love this Gumball Green. It just goes so well with everything. It is one of our new in colors for this year and will carry through 2013. Cool!!!!

Layered Labels

Finally I am almost at the last card for June. Just one more left to put on. I just don't believe I got so far behind. I guess I will have to put them on before class from now on to keep up to date.

I really appreciate all my card class members and their faithfulness every month. It makes it such a joy to prepare for.



 

 

This is the inside of the card. Because I cut the image out of the card front, stamped it on white and put it behind the card front I felt I needed to stamp something inside. It worked out great.

Betsy's Blossoms

I am back finally. We had a great class on Saturday and another on Tuesday and I am so glad to be posting again. I need to get all these cards on here, I have people waiting to see them. The one below was inspired by Laurie Gibson. I have really gotten to like water coloring and try to do a card each month with either the crayons or pencils but this one I did with markers.

Loving Thoughts

I am a quilter so I guess that is why I love this card. It reminds me of a quilt that I once made. It is amazing what can be done with Stampin' Ups punches and they make card making so easy.

 

I am still in therapy and doing better is some ways but the pain in my shoulder and arm is still very much there. Guess it will be back to the doctor and see what's next after next week. I really wish they could determine the cause of all this pain. Please pray that something will be found out soon. I just want to feel good again.

Kindness Matters

Good morning. It is another cloudy day in Southern California but still no rain for us. It would be so nice to get some to clean the air and all.

 

My monthly card class is this Saturday so if you live in the San Diego area we would love to have you join us. Just email me and I will give you all the info. I also do kits for those who can't attend in person.

Mixed Bunch

This is the second card we did in June. I just love this stamp set and the paper. I also really like the fact there is a punch for the flower. I am getting real partial to punches that match our stamps. It makes my work so much easier and looks so much better than if I cut it free hand.

 

Rich Razzleberry is also a favorite color of mine. You will see lots of it this year no doubt.

Open Sea

You must think I forgot I had a blog. It's just that life is in the way again. I have been doing physical therapy twice a week and my husband is still layed up with his broken foot so life is interesting to say the least.

 

I really want to get caught up on the card class cards we have done over the past few months so I may be doing more than one post per day for a while.
