VINTAGE

This is my first attempt at a true vintage card. I'm not sure yet if I like it or not. Maybe it will grow on me. I made it for the Vintage Challenge on Paper Players (challenge #9). I just feel it needs a little something more but I'm not sure just what, maybe nothing at all. It may just be me.

I used Early Expresso to sponge all over everything to make it old and worn looking but it doesn't look old and worn enough to me. It is better in person than in the picture though. The space where the tower is I did with a special template. I got this idea from Patty Bennett's blog.

Stamp Set: Artistic Etchings
Cardstock: Confetti Cream, Crumb Cake (again), and Not Quite Navy
Ink: Early Expresso
Accessories: Big Shot with Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Scallop Corner Trim Punch, Early Expresso 1/8 inch Taffeta Ribbon and dimensionals

Thanks for stoppin in!

Have a Blessed night!

June
