Presto Patterns

This has been a good day. My daughter made it home to Michigan today, safe and sound. Continue to pray for her and her husband through this trying time for them. With God's grace everything will go well and they will be in San Diego by the first of the year. Her job is waiting for her so that is a plus.

This paper was one of my favorites and of course it is gone now. I still have some to play with for my own cards and believe me I will use it.

For this card I used Basic Gray for the card. First layer is Pretty in Pink, next is Basic Gray and the top one is the Presto Patterns DSP. My wide oval is in Rich Razzleberry and the Scallop Oval is Whisper White and the sentiment is in Rich Razzleberry ink.
I used Basic Gray and Rich Razzleberry from the Stampin' Pastels to color my DSP. The ribbon used is Rich Razzleberry Satin layered with Whisper White Organza. I love the look of those 2 ribbons together.

Hope you will make one for yourself.

Thanks for stoppin in and I'll see you soon.

Hugs,
June

Curtain Call Challenge

This was a fun challenge from Curtain Call (Act 42). I just love the new in-colors with Early Expresso. They just look so great together. I am excited about making Halloween treats for my great-grandchildren this year. Last year I also made treat boxes for my neighbors 8 grand children and I will do that again this year also. I got the cutest thank you card that all the kids signed.

Anyway, for this card I use Pear Pazzazz as my main card base and layered it with Early Expresso punched with the Eyelet Border Punch. I then put the 1 1/4" striped Pumpkin Pie ribbon around both layers and tied it in a bow. I stamped my image with Black Stazon Ink and colored it with the Pear Pazzazz, Peach Parfait, Early Expresso Markers. I layered that onto Pear Pazzazz and that onto Peach Parfait. Before adhereing them I punched the top corners with the ticket corner punch. My sentiment is stamped in Early Expresso and punched out with the small oval punch and adhered to a Peach Parfait scallop oval punched with the Scallop Oval Punch and put on the card with a dimensional. The stamp sets I used are Grateful Greetings and Greeting Card Kids. I just love it!

Thanks again for stoppin in!

Have a Blessed Day!

PANSIES

I was surfing the blogs I check everyday and forgot I wanted to enter in the challenge this week with Mojo Monday and today is the deadline. So I quickly found a card that I had made in a class with Laurie Gibson and tweaked it some to fit the challenge. I just love these pansies and they look so real.

I used Crushed Curry for the main card and layered it with Perfect Plum. The beautiful background is a window sheet run through the Big Shot with the Petals of Plenty Embossing Folder. I love how the color underneath shows through. It is so striking in real life. I made the pansies with the Butterfly Punch and colored them with markers and then used my aqua painter to blend the colors. Also used the Wide Oval and Scallop Oval Punches for the sentiment. The ribbon is Crushed Curry Polka Dot. Hope you like this as much as I do.

Thanks for stoppin in!

Have a Blessed night!
