EASEL CARDS

It is another beautiful day in Santee, CA. I have been checking out cards I've made and chose the Easel card to show you today. I again got the tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers but have also seen many of these on other blogs. It is such a nice card to display because it sets so nice. My second one is the first one I made and then I decided to do my Easter card the same way. I sent out 18 of these to family and friends. I really love the colors in this one and will hate to see the Pale Plum go but maybe another will take it's place.

Easter Card

Card recipe:

Stamp set: Abundant Hope

Cardstock: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Whisper White and Perfect Plum DSP(the paper on the bottom of the card under the oval is really Perfect Plum DSP although it looks almost burgundy in this picture, bad lighting I guess)

Accessories: 1/2 inch circle, scallop oval, scallop border trim, scallop border trim corner, and scallop border punches, regal brads, old olive 1/4 inch grosgrain ribbon, mini glue dots and dimensionals.

Thinking of You Card

Another Birthday Card

I told you I had another one of these cards to share. Once I made one it seemed like everyone who's birthday was close got the same kind of card. I just think they are so elegant looking and unique! I have had so many compliments on them and told I should be selling them. Maybe, who knows.
Any way, I love making cards for just about anyone and any occassion.

Again you can get the tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers. I believe it is called the Tri-fold Shutter Card.

Here is my recipe:

Stamp sets: Whimsical Words, Happy Moments, Vintage Vogue

Ink: Perfect Plum

Cardstock: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum (soon to be discontinued), Whisper White, Perfect Plum DSP

Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Scallop Oval Punch. Dimensionals

I really love the new punches we have. They are so much easier to use and store. I hope we get all new punches made this way. I also like the clear mount stamp sets. I can finally get my images where I want them. Stampin Up is so great, and I hope they keep up the trend they have started. Colors and accessories and stamp sets are so much nicer and easier to use. I could never find a better company to be associated with.

Well, I'll see you later.

Thanks for stoppin in!

First one

Hi everyone!

This is my very first time at this and I really don't know what I am doing, so be patient with me. I plan to post my new card creations as soon as I learn to manuever around my blog. I love to make cards for family and friends, and can't get enough of Stamping Up's supplies. You can't find paper to match theirs anywhere. I love the new colors coming out and can't wait to purchase them. I live on a limited income so can't just buy what I want at any time. I hope my business will really take off here in Southern California, that would just be fantastic! I love to share and show others how to be creative.

Well, guess that's my post for today. Hope to be back later with some card creations.

Thanks for stopping in!

Have a Blessed day!
