SCALLOP CIRCLE PHOTO ALBUM

I have been working diligently on another project for the expo on the 18th. It is this beautiful Scallop Circle Photo Album that will also go in your purse. They just turned out so gor-ge-ous, I can't believe it! Wow!

I used the Big Shot and the Scallop Circle Die. For this one I had some of the large Daisie Flowers from the Pretties kit left and decided to use them. I sponged them first with Regal Rose and then the edges with Rose Red. I used the largest flower in the Punch Potpourri Hostess set from the Holiday Mini for the center of the flower and added a clear basic rhinestone for some bling! Ooooh! Wow! I have some others that I will post tomorrow so you can see the contrast.

I made one of these for a granddaughter earlier this year. Her first baby was about 6 mos old at the time and I did a series of his pictures from birth to present for it. She really loved it and it just turned out so cute! It would make a nice first birthday gift for the parents. It is so easy to make.

Have visitors coming from Michigan tonight and a workshop tomorrow, so it might be a couple days before I post again.

TOO KIND

This is my first 411 challenge card SSC155. I haven't created a kindness card in a while and I have some really kind friends that I need to send one to, so this is perfect. I just love creating and using the Big Shot and all it's accessories. I don't know how I ever got along without one before. Wouldn't want to have to now!

I used the Big Shot and the Scallop circle #2 die and got my circle for the sentiment out of Whisper White. I stamped it in Melon Mambo and sponged the edge. Then I stamped the 2-step large flower from the Flower Fancy stamp set onto Whisper White and cut it out. I also stamped the large 2-step leaves in Old Olive and cut them out. My card is Crumb Cake layered with Baja Breeze punched with the Eyelet Border Punch. I then put on a strip of Melon Mambo and adhered a strip of White Organza Ribbon to it. I put my sentiment and flower on with dimensionals and the leaves with mini glue dots. Pretty simple but nice.

END OF SCRAPBOOK

Here it is almost the end of May and National Scrapbooking Month. I am bringing you the last pages of my 60 yr scrapbook today. Hope you like them and that they inspire you to start your own. It is so much fun and very easy once you get going. I have done 5 6x6 albums besides this one. Now to the task of sorting boxes of pictures. That is the real challenging part of the whole process. (lol)

That's all folks! as Bugs Bunny would say! Some of you probably don't even know who that was. I hope you all have a great holiday week-end with family and friends. We are going to dinner tomorrow night for my son's birthday and on Sunday or Monday a bar-b-que with family and friends at Santee Lakes Park. I always enjoy getting together no matter where it's at. BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY

I am sorry that I didn't get any new cards designed for you today, but I was too drained yesterday to create. So I will just share a few more scrapbook pages with you. I hope they inspire you to create some of your own.

Some of the images on these two pages were done with the Big Shot (you really need this) and some with punches. Just adds a little flair to the page.

I really enjoyed designing this album. When I finally get the pictures in, I plan to design another with My Digital Studio program. I really love using that. If you like working with the computer and I are an avid scrapbooker, you really need this program.($79.95) It is so user friendly and you can design some awesome pages with it.

Today I am going to create some cards. I promise to have them on for you tomorrow.
