Flower Fancy

Clear sky today and in the 50's. No more rain and not nearly as much wind as was predicted. I just love the sunshine. It makes me think it is warmer than it really is. That's good.

My class wanted to learn about 2 step stamping so I picked this set and they had so much fun with it. Also taught them how to use the Scallop Border Trim Corner Punch a different way.

Stamp Sets: Flower Fancy and Grateful Greetings

Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Pear Pizazz, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White

Ink: Poppy Parade and Pretty in Pink

Accessories: Scallop Border Trim Corner Punch, Poppy Parade 1/2" Poly Ribbon

Fun card to make. The trick with the punch is to start in the center and then do each end.
Hope this inspires you to create something outside the box.

Thanks for stoppin and hope to see you again real soon.

FLOWER FANCY SYMPATHY

My neighbor called me yesterday and said she needed a card for a friend whose Mother had passed away and wanted to know if I sold my cards. Of course I said I would and I would bring over several for her to choose from. Then her husband called and said he needed a birthday card for his sister who was turning 80 this week. So I made up a few new cards and took them over and this is one of them.

I used the Flower Fancy stamp set. The cardstock is Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi and Very Vanilla. The Ink is Marina Mist and Wild Wasabi. I tied Marina Mist 1/8 inch ribbon around it. It is pretty simple but very nice sentiment. The sentiment is one I purchased at a local craft store. Stampin' Up's is just small and I wanted one that was larger. I used markers to color the flowers and leaves.

Thanks for stoppin in!

FLOWER FANCY

Good Sunday morning to all! It is another beautiful day in Southern California. Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there. Make it a wonderful day with family if possible. Dad's don't get enough opportunities to do that.

I decided it was time to create a anything card and I ran across a card I had done in Laurie Gibsons card class and decided to case it. I tweaked alittle by sponging around the edges and used a different stamp set, but it is pretty much the same as hers otherwise.

I used Rich Razzleberry for the main card and layered it with Melon Mambo and the Pink Pirouette. The flowers are stamped in Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo. I used the Scallop Corner Trim Punch and the small heart punch to do the fancy trim and put Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon behind the trim. It's a card to brighten any day or event.

Thanks for stoppin in!
